Self-bombism in NYC

Nuestro delegado en Nueva York ha dado con una muestra de inequívoco autobombismo. En un ensayo presentado en la Universidad de Columbia se lee:

"...At one point of cinematic significance, he takes a shot at the old bricks appearing through the whitewash. The unquestionable presence of these stones buttresses his rightful claim. The old stones stand in Meishi Street stand as witnesses of history with legitimacy to question the present.
Zhang's documents do not stem from a nostalgic intention, but a combative one. Surely, his sensibility may at times lament the disappearance of the old house and all the memories with it. If, as the Spanish poet Zozobra puts it, 'the courtyard which I'm not stepping in/is the one that contains'(26), the geologic coverage through which history expresses itself is inevitably a traumatic experience. However, Zhang Jinli is not burdened but rather energized by his present circumstance; he does not move the target away from his objective, which resides in the present..."

In fact poet Zozobra questions the very nature of space and selfness in his late living-work in which the author himself plays with the concept of manhood and habitability at his own home, staying indoors for a whole month in a place that barely reachs four square meters including lounge, lavatory and small convenience stove. Nevertheless it is not quite clear whether his personal investigation lends its liability onto outdoors spaces.
We will begin a thread about this discussion in our newly made forum called Species of Spaces.
you are truly welcome to enlighten us with your never overated insights. Thank you very much, (always) indeed.
